Developing Trust, Strengthening Donor Relationships

Multiple approaches are sometimes needed.Photo by Sean Wilson
Building and strengthening relationships with funding partners or funders is essential to fundraising.

Giving and receiving are a two-way street. The grant is given to meet the needs of the receiver, but in return, the organisation doing the work must report back to the funder in a way that satisfies the funder's needs.
So, understanding donor priorities is key to maintaining and directing one's funding and reporting back appropriately, so that both sides are satisfied at the end of the day. This means understanding where the funder is coming from and communicating in a way that they will understand.
Each funder is unique. A one-size-fits-all approach simply doesn’t work.
Tulp Fundraising Services (TFS) can help you develop the tailored communication strategies your funder will understand, or for the situation at hand. This is why we can help you develop tailored communication strategies.
