Projects and Collaborations
Our projects and collaborations have spanned educational institutions to environmental NGOs, doing ongoing work. Here are some examples of NGOs we have helped find funding over the years.

Equal Education https://equaleducation.org.za/ Equal Education (EE) is a youth-led mass democratic movement of learners, post-school youth, parents, teachers and community members who use mobilisation and public action, supported by research, to empower young activists and ensure equality in South African education.

Shark Spotters https://sharkspotters.org.za/ Shark Spotters is a pioneering shark safety and research organisation that has attracted international attention because of the novel way it proactively reduces interactions and conflict between recreational water users and white sharks.

The Right2Know Campaign is a South African non-profit advocacy organisation established in 2010 to reduce state secrecy in the drafting of laws, increase access to information, and protect freedom of expression, especially on the internet. As part of this, the campaign monitors and challenges potential legislation that it believes would infringe on personal liberties and transparent government. It is the first such organisation of its kind in post-Apartheid South Africa.

Resource Africa www.resourceafrica.net/ Resource Africa provides technical support and expertise directly to communities and their national and regional networks based on their expressed needs and requirements. Their overarching aim is to strengthen the capacity of these networks and grassroots organisations to the point where they can advocate for their rights at all levels of governance, collect and share scientific and traditional knowledge on their terms, deliver benefits to their people living alongside wildlife, and realise their goals of sustainable development and climate-resilient livelihoods.

Timbavati Foundation https://timbavati.co.za/timbavati-foundation/ The Timbavati Foundation aims to promote environmental and conservation awareness as well as provide tangible learning through in-field experiences. The Timbavati Foundation's primary objective is to reach underprivileged communities neighbouring the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve through quality environmental education, skills-development opportunities, and to create sustainable & resilient livelihoods through their programmes.

Natural Justice https://naturaljustice.org/ Lawyers for Communities and the Environment specialises in human rights and environmental law in Africa in pursuit of both social and environmental justice.

The Raith Foundation https://raith.org.za/.The Foundation has been implementing a programme of social justice grant-making since 2010. The Foundation seeks to create access to equal opportunity resources, fairness and dignity in people who have been at the mercy of a history of institutionalised apartheid in South Africa.

Heartlines https://www.heartlines.org.za/home Since 2006, Heartlines has helped many people change the way they view their world and how they interact in it. By harnessing the power of storytelling as part of a process. Sharing and hearing others' stories shifts the way people think and act. Heartlines has made it its mission to equip communities and individuals with the knowledge and tools to live lives based on positive values. By producing movies, books, guides, audio and websites that can be used by groups and individuals to start conversations around values and help them make the shift to living them out.
